Our Family Literacy Program

At West Area we are proud to offer our daytime adult students free child care on our main campus for their children ages 3 through 5. With the help of grant money and other community agencies, we are able to provide a wonderful family literacy program consisting of four essential components.

Our toddler program is licensed by the State of Florida.  We are committed to providing the quality care and promoting pre-school readiness. Click here to view some of our educational visitors.

If you are an adult student, 16 years of age or older, who needs assistance with child care in order to come to West Area Adult School, please contact Pam Ziegenfuss, Family Literacy Specialist, at
