Adult High School Credit Program
Are you lacking only a few credits to complete your high school diploma?

The Adult High School Diploma
Program serves adult students 16 years of age and older who has not completed his
or her regular high school program, and who does not hold a GED diploma.
Students with ninth grade level or above TABE scores may continue their pursuit of a traditional high school credit
diploma.
ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS FOR HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA ARE:
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Must have withdrawn from a K-12 program
- Must have scores of 9.0 or higher on D or A Level TABE
- Must be able to purchase books.
- Should have reliable transportation

Did you know......

Standard High School Diploma Program
- Students must purchase books or pay a minimal usage fee as required by the course curriculum.
- Students may enroll at regular intervals during the school year. All previous coursework will be evaluated for possible credit toward graduation.
- All teachers hold valid teaching certificates.
- Classes are competency-based. A student can work at his or her own pace to complete a class at an accelerated rate.
- Enrolling students are given academic counseling by a certified guidance counselor.
- Students will be required to take a placement test (TABE) prior to enrollment in order to ensure that each student is placed in an appropriate learning environment.
- A Work Experience Program (OJT) is available to students who work at least 20 hours per week in an approved job setting.
- Day classes are offered at our main campus.
- Program completers will have satisfied all Florida academic requirements, and will receive a Polk County Adult High School Diploma issued by the Polk County School Board.
